I have a Window XP machine the locks the workstation after
there is no activity for a period of time (there is no
screensaver set). This is causing problems on the network
and I need to turn it off so that it doesn't lock
automatically. Can anyone tell how to do this. I have
been unable to any info on it anywhere? Thanks for the
help.

.

Click on the desktop with the right mouse button. Go to
properties/screen saver. On the menu, uncheck the
checkbox that says on resume display welcome screen. That
should solve your problem
