Hi.
I have several public information kiosks. They run a website that is
locally served using Apache. I need to be able to lockdown the desktop in
case IE crashes...I don't want the desktop to pop up for people to access. I
have removed all desktop icons and autohide the taskbar, but the taskbar
still pops up sometimes.
Is there a way to disable the taskbar or password protect it? There is no
keyboard on the kiosk...only a touchscreen, so even if I could disable it
unless a keyboard is attached would be fine.
I use XP and XP Pro.
If I can't do it through Windows, is there 3rd party software that would
handle this for me?
Thanks a lot!!
