Locking down a spreadsheet

I have created a spreadsheet for colleagues at work to use but I do not want
them to be able to alter the formulae or the format - how do I still allow
them to enter data but not change anything??
 
You want to check out Tools|Protect,Protect Sheet.
You will have to Unlock the cells you want people to be able to edit.
You can do this by se3lecting the cells you want people to edit, and then
going to Format|Cells. On the Protection Tab, Remove the Check for locked.
