locking columns in a report

My report is wider than the page, so it prints on multiple
pages.

Is there a way to "lock" in the first two columns so that
they repeat on every page? (similar to freezing a pane in
an excel spreadsheet).

You can put the same control in multiple places on the report to get the
same/similar effect. But, no, you can't freeze columns.
