Locked out or welcome screen

Hi, Here's a computer with WinXP sp2. Fast user switching is turn on. There's
many users on this computer. My username is hidden on the welcome screen (by

When I restart the computer, when the welcome screen appears I Ctrl+Alt+Del
twice to enter my username and password. The problem is, after I'm logged on,
if I press Win+L keys it will take me to the welcome screen. That's alright.
But when I hit Ctrl+Alt+Del twice, nothing happens... I cannot switch back to
the session I just left... I have to restart the computer to be able to login
again... Any ideas why? neilsanner

Use Start>Log Off. Sounds like you're Locking, not Logging.

But what if I don't want to log off, and just switch users?

I also noticed that after the screen saver comes off, it's not the welcome
screen that appears but the "Unlock Computer" dialog.

Maybe related?
