Locked Object???

Hello,

Firstly sorry if I have posted this in the wrong area.

I have for a while been working on a database from home
and then bringing it into work... previously I just
emailed it from home but this time I saved it to disk.

Now when I try to open any forms in design view I get the
following error:

"The object is locked, so any changes you will make will
be discarded when the form is closed. Click Save
As/Export on the file menu and save the object under a
different name."

The file is not Read Only (as far as I can tell) but I
also get "Microsoft Access is unable to load the database
properties" when I try to access them.

Any ideas?

copy it to the HD first and set its read only property to false (uncheck
it).

Thanks that worked

I think what I did wrong was just drag it from the
Explorer window straight to the desktop.
