Yes, you can create a new, blank document and then use the Insert File
dialog box to bring in the contents of the document protected for forms; the
inserted contents will be editable.
To open the Insert File dialog box in Word 2007: On the Insert tab, click
the arrow next to Object, and choose Text from File. Locate the file in
question and click the Insert button.
