locked documents

all new and old documents are locked in 2007 word,
I have activated my trial period and when I go to to activate it says that
it will
expire April 30th 2010,
I have been using word prior to activation, but now that I have activated
can still
do nothing....what's next?

Sounds like the trial has expired after all. Maybe there is a limited number
of times that you are allowed to start Word before the given date?
