I see that there is an icon that says 'Lock this computer'

I presume that on clicking this icon the computer will then not allow
access.

Before I click on this icon, How would I unlock the computer.

Thanks

When you click the icon, the computer will look itself.

you will need to user either the/a admin account and password to unlock
the computer again.

The account that locked the computer can also unlock it, BTW.

HAve you looked at windows help for "lock computer?"

Your User picture, name and the password box (if you have a password) will
appear and type your password in the password box (if you have a password)
then press Enter. You will then be at your desktop.

In my case, I have accidentily locked my computer when switching it off.
The locked icon is illuminated on my key board, and the on button remains on
– however the screen stays blank. Any ideas of what I can do ? Please help !!!
