Lock taskbars?

Is there a way to lock the position of the taskbars? (I think it's the
"taskbars" I'm talking about -- the buttons belo the menu bar?

I just installed Adobe Acrobat 7.0, and I have three new buttons. The want
to appear in a row all by themselves, which creates as new row. I can move
them to the already existing row when OL is open, but when I close it out
and open it again, the new buttons are back in their own separate row.

Can I tame them to stay put?

The Acrobat add-in is controlling the behavior of its buttons. It apparently
doesn't include any feature to save your preferences. There's nothing you
can do about it.
