Lock out user from Windows XP after x days

I'm trying to figure away to lock users from Windows XP HOME Ed.
machines after xx Days. I know about user net user commands in dos and
setting individual users logon hours/days of week, and this is not
going to work for me.

the company i work for is selling Computer systems with a bulkier
device (part of the package) recently we had problems with costumers
not paying so we want it Windows setup as a trial or away to lock the
user out after so many days and once the customer pays their account,
we can then supply them with the continuing windows access.

Right now we buy our systems with Windows XP Home Ed. we are
considering going to Windows XP or 2003 professional which offers
advanced user management and we can have the password expire after so
many days.

Any input on this would greatly be appreciated

Thanks In Advanced

The solution to your dilemma is to have your customers
pay for their system before they take possession of it (COD).

when your selling 250,000 to 2million dollar machines that isn't an
option. Most of our Transactions are done with bank transactions and a
lot of our devices are shipped over seas.

For a business selling such high-ticket sales, your best course of
action will be to contact Microsoft tech support directly. I'm sure you
have a support contract with them.
