Lock computer - how not to

Yakimo

Hi everybody,
I have a problem. My WindowsXP machine locks up after 10 min. and wanted to
enter a password to unlock it. I don't like to use this great feature, but
"on resume password protected" in display
properties on the Screen Saver is disabled so I can not uncheck it.
Any suggestions what I can do?

I posted the similar message in security_admin, but no answer so I am
posting it here again. Maybe this is the right group for this question

Thanks,
Yakimo

Your account is a limited account (I am assuming that). You
need to check with the system admin to change that setting.

Try going into Start, Click on your user Icon, Manage User
Accounts, If You are The computer Adminstrator/Or on the
Computer Adminstrator Account, uncheck the Box That Says
Require Password.-in other words just get rid of the
password.
