disable auto lock of screen in XP

I've a XP Pro laptop. The screen locks after sometime automatically.
I've to enter the password to unlock the screen everytime.

I checked the screen saver tab and it has the 'On resume, password
protect' checked. But the whole thing is grayed out. I cannot uncheck
it. Is there another way to uncheck it? can I change something in the
registry to disable this auto locking?

Is this computer part of a domain ? If so, this setting is probably managed
by a GPO.

Yes, it's part of a domain. Does it mean that there's no way to
override it locally?

If you are an administrator of the local machine it is possible, but I dont
know how.
