I noticed that there is a feature in Word 2003 that allows you to lock the
formatting so that someone can't change it. I am having the opposite
problem. A colleague who is primarily responsible for ensuring all the
formatting is consistent on documents is using format painter or dragging and
dropping things and ends up changing not only the formatting but also the
text on occassion.
Rather than use the compare function every time I want to process formatting
changes, is there a way I can protect the text but allow for the formatting
to be changed?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
