For safety's sake I have checked the option to make a backup copy every time
I save a file I am working on. These backup files all end up in the same
data directory cluttering where the real files are. In my ancient
WordPerfect for DOS, I could instruct the program to put such backup files
in their own subdirectory.
Is there a way to do this in Word 2002? There does not seem to be such an
option for backup files in Options/File locations. Can I create a new entry
there called backup files?
Thanks.
