Locale showing as Estonian??

Hi,

I posted this in the "Online Community" thread as well.

When I open Microsoft's Antispyware Beta, click on Help, choose "About" then
click on "Diagnostics," I see the following in the list of information.

Is US Locale: False
Locale Language: Estonian:Estonian (0425)
Locale Country: Estonia:Estonia (372)

I live in the US. Does anyone know why my location is
showing up as something else? I clicked the diagnostics
button after the program blocked an install of a search
hijacker. I think it was called "snsearch" or something
like that. Anyway, I did a full search after that and the
program found nothing more. Thanks for your help.

Here's where you check on the locale:

control panel, date, time, language and regional options--regional and
language options

regional options tab/page, click customize, click on the date tab. There
you will find the two drop down controls for short date and long date.
Reset each to the topmost choice.


This wording relates to fixing an issue which affects the expiry date for
the beta on some machines--but the locations involved will show you the
locale settings. (i.e. ignore the specifics of the "regional options" para
above, but look at the tabs in general and see what you are set to.
