Local Site Changed to File Folder Under MY Webs"+ Lost Nav Menu &

Using FP2003. I guess it started when I couldn't publish and followed my
isp's advice: I refreshed FP extensions at web server then went to filezilla
and on remote side removed 3 vti files and fpclass file per their
instruction. This helped when I had problems with FP2000 but I have a feeling
this is a no-no with FP2003?

Here's the SCARY part: Now all pagebanners and nav bars missing. BUT THE
WORST is that the web is now showing as a FILE instead of a web. In other
words, when I go to Explorer, my other webs have a file with a globe on them
and on mouse-over say "stores your local website" but on the web I'm
referring to there's no globe on the file icon and on mouse-over it just
treats it like a file and gives the megabites only with no mention of "stores
your local website". "Wha happen????? GULP.
The good news is that on the remote side I still have everything OK. How do
I get the nav menu/borders/nav bar/local web status back??

Don't delete any FP generated _vt* files or folders
- bad host advice
If your live remote site is still unchanged by you open it in FP and Publish it back to your local to restore the local
