Local Settings/Temp folder

Can you just erase all the files/folders in your Local Settings/Temp
folder?

Can you also just erase any files ending in .tmp?

Hi ... I do this often

Empty/delete the entire contents of the C:\Windows\temp folder and C:\temp
folder, (Contents only but not the folder itself.)

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp\

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Internet Temp Files


Delete the recycling bin ...



If you perform a file and folder search for *.tmp ? You can also remove
whatever it finds

Yes, but do it after a fresh reboot.
