Local Security Policy

I've accidentally activated several security policies
which lock my access to parts of W2kPro OS, as well as
configuration applications (for example, I cannot change
my paging file size). I tried to access the Local Security
Policy, but the database was locked. The "secedit" command
has not worked either. I cannot find my install disk, and
I need to know if there is a way to reset the local
security policies back to their default values.

This KB link about modifying the registry may or may not help, but is worth a try.
There may be other ways to do it if you can access administrative shares such as c$
on that computer remotely over a network. --- Steve
