Hi,

I have a windows 2000 server and few windows 2000
professional and windows XP professional system. Recenlty
I faced a problem.

Here is the error message I recive when I log as normal
user. " The local policy of this system does not permit
you to loon interactively." But administrator is able to
login. If I add the user in administrative group some
systems I am able to login with normal user. In Local
security setting, log on localy option property is
disabled. Could someone help me to solve this problem?
Advance thanks for all the support.

If the server is a domain controller you need to configure that user right in Domain
Controller Security Policy. If you can not configure the Local Security Policy of a
computer where this is a problem then there is an overriding policy at the domain or
Organizational Unit level where you will need to add users the logon locally user
right. Note that entries in the deny logon locally user right override and logon
locally user right. You can use gpresult support tool on a computer to see what
computer policies are being applied to it. Any of those policies could be configuring
user rights for that computer. --- Steve
