Local policy is being ignored

D

Dan J.S.

I have several SQL 7.0 servers running on windows 2000. Everytime I reboot
them, I have to retype the password under the service and apply, this gives
the local logon rights to the SQL 7.0 service account. Is my AD somehow
resetting this local logon right? How do I permanently fix this?

Thanks much!!

Dan-

Check to make sure that any domain policies you have applied to the SQL
Server allow the account in question to logon as a service. Policies
applied to the OU have precedence over local policies defined on the server.
