I am tring to establish a local network between a desktop computer running XP
Home Edition, and a laptop computer running Windows 2000 Professional. The
Windows 2000 Professional can see the XP computer when I open Networking, but
when I try to access any of the files, it tells me that it can not access the
files. What can I do?

Thank you for the response. I have already set several folders on each
computer to share. The problem is a little more intense than that.

By the way, just as an update since I posted yesterday. I can now see from
the XP computer into the 2000 computer, and open/copy files within shared
folders. I still can not see from the 2000 computer into the XP computer.
