'Local Disk (C:)' icon has disappeared

I recently installed a game. A few days later, after
playing it a few times and eventually uninstalling it, the
program left its icon in place of the 'Local Disk (C:)'
icon in 'My Computer'. I got rid of the icon, but now
when I want to get into c drive the following dialogue
appears:

Hi Andrew,

Remove any autorun.inf from the root directory and then go to Windows
Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/View and reset all folders. If this doesn't
help:

Go to Start/Run and type in: regsvr32 /i shell32
