I_Have_Trouble

Hello, i have PC's on my LAN running on win98se, winXP
home and winXP pro. I just installed winXP home on one of
PC's recently and configured TCP/IP everything ran just
fine, I was able to browse LAN and(!!!) when i updated my
winXP using windows update, some problem (I had it b4, and
same problem i got on winXP pro as well)occured: I can see
all PC's on my LAN but as quick as I doubleclick them my
explorer restarts. was searching through google for ages -
no cure. Im ready to post more details if i have any
answer from you, pls help, it's so annoying.

regards
t.

I like the idea of a "local aria". Who sings it? :-)

Check your computer's event logs for errors & report back what you find.

The TCP Tenors, of course! ;-)

Right-click My Computer, select Properties, then the Advanced tab, then the
Settings button under "Startup and Recovery". Turn off the "Automatically
Reboot" option. Then the next time this error occurs, see if there's an
error message that may indicate where the problem lies.

I usually go for baritones.
