Local Area connection properties

Strangest thing. Cannot access local area connection
properties. The properties screen shows for 3 seconds
without loading any protocols & services and then
dissapears. I want to add another IP to the network card.
Cant find any info on this problem at all. Please help.

1. Open up REGEDT32 and navigate to the following location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network

2. Save out the Network key.

3. Delete the Config value which is inside the Network key <on the right side of the two pane
window and has a very long binary value>
(Do not delete the Network key)

The Config value will be reconstructed on startup.

4. Reboot.

Hope this helps,
Gary
