Hi,

I'm loading new Kodak Easy Share software but got an
error message "unable to yadayad error code 14-21-16".
Kodak online help sent to microsoft help, which linked to
a MS error code 1719? way to technical for me and anyway
I'm in a remote location and don't have access to my
admin guy. Anyway I've logged problem with MS help, but
thought someone could help NOW, as I need to take image
urgently for work (or I'll get skun like a rabbit).

Any quick help appreciated.

Hi Jake,

That Kodak EasyShare software loads BackWeb on your system supposedly to
check for updates. What software could they possibly have that needs to run
24/7 to check for updates? They certainly don't update it often enough to
justify that. I consider it spyware and I suggest you run Spybot if you ever
get EasyShare installed and have it remove that crap.
