loading pictures using I.E 6.0

Hi. I am having trouble loading pictures from picture
heavy websites using IE 6.0. This is especially true at
www.friendster.com. First i thought it might of been them
but when i tested it on another computer, the website
worked fine. My computer is fairly new (my friend build
it a few months back) so i should have the memory needed.
I dont know to do... any help would be very much
appreciated.
