Loading on 2nd computer

I have two computers at home. I don't want to network my
computers since the second one will be used by my grand-
children. How can I load XP to my second computer legally?

There is no law, nor court precedent that backs up your suposition that
installing legally purchased software on more than one computer. Unless
you can come up with one, then how can you say that it is "illegal?"

What for? A retail upgrade version of Windows XP Home can be purchased for
about the same amount, and you don't run into the problems inherent with OEM
versions.

Buy a second copy.

You can buy a second license from Microsoft, but it's not a good
deal; it's almost always cheaper to buy a second copy from a
discount source.
