loading gamepad

help!!! i'm trying to load dual action gamepad..everything is going well
until i'm asked to load xp disc which i don't have as my laptop came
preloaded with xp.
i'm being told that a file needs to be loaded hidusb.sys..can anyone help
please!!!

If your system came with a recovery disk, you may be able to use that. If
not, you can try borrowing an installation CD from a friend.

Lastly, try searching the internet for the files you need. Once downloaded,
simply point the installation routine to the download location. Doing it
this way, though, may result in you running back and forth to the internet
for files.
