Load Up

Everytime i turn on my comp and then the monitor, it comes
up wiv VGA In (or something) then a msg comes up 'No
Video' and the monitor goes into sleep mode. I have to
keep pressing restart untill it eventually turns on. Any
ideas why this is so, i've checked the obvious, i.e. all
the plugs etc. its realli annoying. Jus running the
basic XP set-up

Any Ideas???
