load balancing

I have a tyan motherboard with 2 1gb nics. I am trying to figure out how to
give 2gb bandwidth to this machine. I thought I could do that with network
load balancing. But this is windows 2000 standard. My question is can I use
network load balancing to increase bandwidth access to this machine and if so
how with standard edition ?

"NIC teaming" is the search term, do you have identical NICs and does
the NIC manufacturer provide the teamin drivers?

They are identical nics but I dont' think tyan supplied "team" drivers but I
am still looking

The nics are broadcom so I went to their site and downloaded from there. Hope
this works thank you
