Am using Outlook Express V6 with Win XPSP2 Home Edition. Can't get links in
E-Mail to open. Any help w/b appreciated.

One of the new security features in SP2 is to disable links, open the email
that has links disabled, in the email window you should see a yellow bar,
click on it and activate links, then the links will work in that email.

Hi Lavert,

Close Internet Explorer and Outlook Express if either are open.

Start/run "regsvr32 urlmon.dll" (without the quotes)

Control panel/Internet options/programs tab, click on "reset all web
settings"

Reopen and retry the links in Internet Explorer and Outlook Express.

It may not be a feature from SP2 perhaps I got that wrong, but my outlook
2003 says to me links have been turned off as a security measure, if I click
the yellow bar in the email I can turn the links on.

I use Outlook too so now what you're referring to. I've never seen links
blocked but have seen pictures from third party sites or attachments
blocked by Outlook settings. Regardless, the question was about Outlook
Express. Although the names are similar, they are two different products.
How things work can be very different between the two.
