The LiveWeb instruction page says it works with documents off the hard drive
as well as with live web pages. I want to display a saved webpage in a
powerpoint slide and don't want to rely on a live internet connection. I
have tried saving in HTML, MHTML and in favorites make available offline.
Then using LiveWeb I enter the file path name on my computer where the page
is but I get a page not available screen instead of the page.

I know how to cut and paste screen captures - I am interested in getting the
whole page in a slide so I can scroll down.

Please help - can LiveWeb do this or any other product?

Shyam is on his honeymoon, so I'll attempt to answer for him. To create a
LiveWeb object that points to a file on your hard drive, the following format
works:

file:D:\soniacoleman\Leifs_Studio\aquari.htm

In otherwords, use the full path to the file and precede the path with "file:"

Unlike URLs, you must specify the default file name and extension.

If you do screen captures (.jpg, .bmp or any other format). They will need
to be added as graphics to an HTML page. LiveWeb will open web pages (that
can contain graphics).
