We don't have any magic fix for this. If you are sure that IE and OE are
not set to work offline, and that you have no firewall or Internet security
application which is interfering with outbound communication, I don't have a
suggestion.

This can be caused by issues at the server end, but I've checked for updates
on machines over the course of the day and not seen issues.

I have the same problem too...it seemed to appear after I
loaded "Counterspy" which is very similar to Microsoft's.
Is there a compatibility problem with "Counterspy"?

Others have reported this issue, also in conjunction with an install of
Counterspy.

I don't have a workaround to offer---the two programs are very closely
related at this stage of the beta, which may cause the conflict--both are
derived from the same third-party technology. Microsoft purchased the
technology, Sunbelt had a prior license to use it.

I'd suggest trying an update reinstall of Microsoft Antispyware, but don't
know if this is likely to have any effect--I'd appreciate hearing either
way::

Control Panel, add or remove programs, Microsoft Antispyware, change, update

If this isn't helpful, I'd recommend uninstalling one or the other programs.
I would expect this issue to be resolved in a further build of this beta,
but can't predict when that might happen.
