Others have reported this issue, also in conjunction with an install of
Counterspy.
I don't have a workaround to offer---the two programs are very closely
related at this stage of the beta, which may cause the conflict--both are
derived from the same third-party technology. Microsoft purchased the
technology, Sunbelt had a prior license to use it.
I'd suggest trying an update reinstall of Microsoft Antispyware, but don't
know if this is likely to have any effect--I'd appreciate hearing either
way::
Control Panel, add or remove programs, Microsoft Antispyware, change, update
If this isn't helpful, I'd recommend uninstalling one or the other programs.
I would expect this issue to be resolved in a further build of this beta,
but can't predict when that might happen.
