Live OneCare

So stupid me bought Windows Live OneCare a few weeks back and then I decided
to put in Pre-RC1. OneCare immediately complained. I look at the box and
it states for PC's with XP.

Ok, my fault right? But wait a minute, I saw some advertisements on Vista
pages on the MS site. So, am I missing something?

When Vista RTMS, you'll have a good deal if not for the east backup to HD
or media, alone at $33 for 3 licenses, and the firewall team has said One
Care's firewall will evolve toward being the same as Vista's if you do use
it on any XP boxes.

One care uses less resources, space and breaks a lot less than Norton.

Why the company who always brags they "eat their own dogfood" and they are
doing everything (all through the Beta) to get 3rd party hdw and software
driver compatibility going with companies dragging their butts is dragging
its butt with One Care, I have no idea. I haven't seen an explanation
about One Care proferred from the softies. They are very quiet on the
subject. Maybe they're waiting until Brad Smiths' girls and boys can finish
with the Seattle federal suit in district court, but discovery could drag
past Vista launch.

The rush to push "Vista Whatevah It's real good" out the door RTMing it
internally on October 25, 2006 and syncophantically christening Vista as
"like so awesome" in Seattle yuppie buppie-ese to get it out the door will
get you One Care installability on Vista soon--maybe.
