live messenger sign in details blank after reboot

Since installing windows live messenger my sign in details no longer appear
after a reboot of my pc, even though I select remember me option. So each
time I restart and login I need to retype my email and password to sign in.
MSN 7.5 always remembered my details. Any ideas?

open your messenger - go to tools - options - general - check the box
automatically run windows live messenger when i log on to windows, and allow
automatic sidn in - go out with ok

I had the same problem, it’s caused by your sign in details becoming
corrupted. To fix it, go to the Control panel Add/remove programs
applet, find the entry for Live Messenger, click Change, then click
Repair.

Once the repair has done its stuff, restart Messenger and it should
sign in OK
