Before I give up any hope of Microsoft seeing sense, I thought a poll of
other users may be useful. The issue is the "multiple folders" of Windows
Live Mail which become visible if you have multiple email accounts.

If you are happy with multiple folders, then please do NOT reply to this
thread. Yes, this will make the poll totally biased, but the point is that
if you are happy with the multiple folders (or even like them!) you don't
require anything to be changed.

However, if you think multiple folders are a terrible idea, they please fell
free to vent your anger below. Perhaps Microsoft will then provide an option
to turn them off - how hard can it be?

Here is a selection so far ...

Pointless in here Nigel, maybe ask in:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop
That is the user group that have WLM installed & M$ staff might see it
there?

Seconded. Also, I feel that a middle position on this issue is more
advisable and more likely to gain Microsoft support. By that I mean
that the folder structure should be selectable by the user. A user
with few accounts may prefer the current arrangement, while those
of us with many accounts would prefer an option to hide all the
accounts from the folder list.
