I use a particular website daily which requires a log
in. It originates as a list of names, giving you the
option of clicking into the individual records. Each
time I go try to go back to the original list, I get a
message that says "Warning. The page has expired...." I
am then asked to refresh the page to get back to the
original list. This ends up being about 3 extra steps.
Netscape doesn't have that problem.

IE> Tools> Options> Advanced> Security, uncheck "Do not save encrypted pages
to disk."

You might also start opening those links in a new window either by
Shift+click or right-click> open in a new window.
