List Service Status on cmdline

Hi,

I am looking at writing a script that would logon to different servers and
query for windows service running on that server and report its status and
other info like last restarted etc.


For example from a PC, I want to logon to Database Server using admin
previllages and query if the MySQL Service is running and its status.

Is this possible, if yes what utility or command do I use.

I am looking at using this on windows 2000 advance servers.
