List Box Query within the same Table

I have an employee records table and for the "Title" field I need to be able
to enter in a title and have the query return the different titles entered
for the next record without showing duplicates. I don't want to enter values.

This is a process I need for other fields in other tables as well. Any ideas?

That is probably best suited under a form rather than direct entry of data
into the table, at least, from what I understand,... because it is not
entierely clear. Can you give a small example (by what you mean with 'the
next record' and 'without duplicates').

I suppose a form would be best. As I am enter ing job titles, rather thatn
retype duplicate titles I would like to have the list box "remember" the
entries. When I tell it to do a lookip on the field it does list all the
previously entered titles but it lists all the fields entered and shows
duplicates. So what I would like to have is the field to "remember" the job
titles entered in the field without showing duplicate entreis in the
drop-down list. Also, I would like to not have to create a separate table for
the look-up if posssible.
