Linux is free. But windows cheaper than linux????

***Disclamer*** I am not bashing linux, I am not a troll. I am just writting
an answer to the linux users who make fun of windows users, and some food
for thought for everyone. I think that even though this is a general post it
is not in any way irrelivent to the windowsXP newsgroups, since I am sure
lots of people would like to read this point of view.

It almost doesn't matter which is cheaper. What matters more is that
there is competition, which keeps the O/S makers on their toes, and
encourages them to improve their products. Even if you love Windows
above all others, you should be thankful that Linux is around to give
Microsoft a good, swift kick in the pants when it starts to get lazy.

but no, windows wasnt the os that makes ppl use cinputers, its was
apple's mac
then microsoft steal the graphical user interface
what makes windows spread that it can run in any PC not only mac's
at the time was microsoft just a company that builts office for apple

actualy windows who makes many of companies closed and programmers cant
found a job
either microsoft steals your technology and put it in windows "ie
netscape"
or u get viruses and get hacked to lose all you've built
that's windows impire
now, for example microsoft products are copy of google's luckly for
google its started its own strong impire before microsoft notice its
there!
microsoft who makes things cheaper? windows cost about 30% of modern
pcs! whattechnology microsoft "realy" invensted?
