Links will not open right away in Outlook2003

This is a new problem for me-- I use IE as my browser and now if I click a
link in my e-mail, it takes forever to open and hangs up my program with a
"Not Responding"message at the top of Outlook- I updated my Office, reset web
setting and it still is not fxed- apparently others are experiencing the same
thing! Can anything help???

Kim I have the same problem, or the posts won't open at all? yes they are
from 'safe' sites, so I'm very instered in who has the answer. Pegi S
 
had to come back forgot to click the ...Notify me of replys, sorry. thanks Pegi
 
I tried to change my default broser to Firefox... and still did not help :-(
