Links folder in Favorites

How come every time I delete the Links folder it comes
back? I don't want it. Is there anyway to get it to go
away forever??
 
You cannot permanently delete the Links folder. If you don't want to
see this valuable folder, then set the attributes to Hidden.

Open Registry

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Toolbar

Value Name: LinksFolderName

Set the value of "LinksFolderName" to equal a blank
string. Open IE and delete the Links folder from the
Favorites menu.

The next time you start Internet Explorer the Links
folder will not be recreated.
