Linking to ODBC File dsn

When I try to change the file from Access ot ODBC in the Get External Data
link dialog box the dialog box disappears and I can not select the file I
want to. Has anyone had this problem or do any one of you have an idea where
I can start looking?

Are you saying that you don't get the standard "Select Data Source" dialog?

Assuming you do, if your file DSN isn't shown in the list on the File Data
Source tab, you should be able to navigate to it by changing what's in the
"Look in" combo.

Yes that is correct. I do not get the dialog box when I click on the ODBC
database option in the drop down box of the Files of type combo box in the
Get External Dialog box.

The only idea that occurs to me is to try and re-register ACCWIZ.DLL
