Linking tables from DB on LAN

I read that it's better to use full server names vs. using path names (J:/)
when linking tables since users can have different letter names for the same
server. When I link the table I don't see the option to use the server name.
How do I do it?
 
If you navigate to the backend using Network Neighbourhood, it will use the
UNC pathname.

When the file open dialog comes up you will see the ability to browse the
network...

It *used* to called Network Neighborhood ... but now it is called

"My Network Places"

So, if you browse via the network...then to the computer..then to the
folder..and then to the mdb file...you will get a UNC path name....
