linking PDF image files to records

I have a database in MS Access 2000/2002 that has over 3000 records. Many of
these records have PDF, JPEG, and TIFF image files associated with them.
What's the best way to be able to view the image file associated with each
record? I know I can create a command button using that activates a
hyperlink to the image file, or that opens an OLE field for the record in
which I have inserted the image file, but is there an easier way? Or does
each image have to be manually attached to the record somehow? The image
file name is the same as the record identifier number.
