Linking object to new shape

I am very new to VBA and I am struggling to find out how I can link an object
so that when it is clicked a shape appears on a final slide.

my reason for needing this is that I am getting students to do a quick test
and I think it would be great if when they finished it showed them which they
got right and which they got wrong.

I have found several examples but I can't get them to work so that a shape
is uncovered or moved on a different slide.

I have lots of examples on my Web site: http://www.PowerfulPowerPoint.com/
that give feedback on other slides. Example 7.9 gives feedback on the last
slide as to what was answered correctly or incorrectly. Example 6.4 does
hiding and showing shapes on the current slide and other slides.

If you have some code that is not quite working for you, it is always a good
idea to post the code here so someone can see where you are and possibly
tweak your code.
