linking/merging a personalized document to 40 recipents using one

I am trying to create a template word document that can be adjusted or
personalized for about 40 of my contacts. The goal is to email each
personalized document to all 40 of my contacts in a automated way. I don't
want to create 40 templates and send a email for 40 people. I want to send
one email, perhaps using a distribution list to 40 users where the each
recieptient obtains there intended personalized document. Is this possible?
Any suggestions or solutions? Thank you for your time and courtesy!

I am using Windows XP srv pack 2; Office 2003.

It's possible using Word mail merge, but not with a distribution list. Select the individual contacts in the Contacts folder, then choose Tools | Mail Merge and continue from there.

Thank you... Yeah I just figured it out; it was a lot simpler then I had
expected. Thank you for your quick response!

-create an email merge doc
-create a data file with email contact info
-click the email link button!
easy as that!

Thanks Sue

If the data is already in Outlook, you can skip the 2nd step if you do it the way I suggested.
