How can I link a statement (e.g., company name) on page 1
of my document to a header or footer on the succeeding
pages so that whenever I change that particular statement,
the header or footer corresponding to that statement will
automatically change also? You know, like how we do it in
Excel. I really need help on this asap. Thank you so
much!

Bookmark the information you want to repeat (use Insert > Bookmark). Then
insert cross-references (Insert > Cross-reference) to that bookmark in other
places such as the header/footer.

Another possibility is to use a unique style to format the information, and
insert a STYLEREF field in the header/footer. Read the Help topic on that
field to see how it works.
