Does the option "Get External Data - Link Tables" do the same thing as the
Database Splitter Wizard? I am installing a copy of all my forms, reports,
macros, queries on front-ends and my tables on one back-end in a file on our
network, then using the get external data option instead of the split
database option to link these copies to the tables. Does this accomplish the
same thing as the split? If not, how is it done? Also, is the approach to
setting up security on a split (or linked) database any different?
